Performance Standards: The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of 21st Century Philippine literature from the regions through:
1. a written close analysis and critical interpretation of a literary text in terms of form and theme, with a
description of its context derived from research; and
2. an adaptation of a text into other creative forms using multimedia.

Introduction (10 minutes):
1. Begin the lesson by asking students to share their thoughts on how different contexts, such as historical, social, or cultural, can impact the interpretation of a text.
2. Introduce the concept of context and explain its significance in literature.
3. State the learning objectives for the lesson.
Assessment:
1. Monitor students' participation and engagement during class discussions and group activities.
2. Evaluate students' understanding of different contexts through their group presentations and the gallery walk activity.
3. Assess students' written reflections on their ability to apply the knowledge gained in the lesson to future literary analysis.
4. Give students a 10-item objective quiz.
