4. L Cheerdance is coined from the words, cheer and dance. To cheer is to shout out words or phrases
that may help motivate and boost the morale of a playing team and perform better during a game. In line with
this, 1 Thessalonian 5: 11 says “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doin”.
Created as relational beings, it’s our greatest privilege to enjoy companionship with the people who truly matter in
our lives. Be a source of encouragement to our friends, family, and loved ones today by writing a word of
encouragement or compliement to them.

In this activity, you are required to perform the basic motions/positions of cheerdance. This activity will help you
develop interest in cheer dancing as a good form of exercise in developing your fitness.
General instructions:
1. Wear appropriate attire for exercise. Follow the proper execution of the motions.
2. Do the warmup exercises before starting and cool down exercises after doing the activities.
3. Choose at least 10 combinations of arm and leg positions/motions. You are encouraged to take pictures of yourself while
doing the activities below. Then paste your pictures in the space given below. Write captions about the pictures pasted in
the documentation. Identify the hand/arm motion and leg position you chose.
4. For extra points: Perform at least 1 tumbling skill.

It was hard for me to get the perfect form and yes, I can feel the strengthening of my muscles

3. What benefits can you gain as you engage yourself in doing basic cheerdance motions?
This can help us Maintain a healthy level of fitness, it also helps Coordination and Flexibility. It improves Posture, Team
Building, and Confidence. It is good for Strength Training and build relationships with fellow team members.
This is to avoid injury, every cheerleader must always stretch before and after practice, games and performances, this
will also improve and maintain flexibility.
The following are the essential words in this module. Create your own formula on how you will attain lifelong fitness and
wellness. Justify your answer by giving a brief explanation.
Ex: dancing + proper nutrition + healthy lifestyle = lifelong fitness and wellness
You are tasked to create 3 formations. In each formation, there should be at least 5 skills/motions used in 16 counts. You are
to make for the dancers and flyers/lifters. A sample output is provided for you found in your handouts. Make your drawing
simple. You can use stick man for the actions.
