4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity Begin with classroom routine:

2. “3 things that I am Grateful For” (students shall take turns
every day to share 3 things that he/she is grateful for)

4.2 Activity Start the lesson with a brand guessing game. Display logos or
5 minutes brand symbols on the board and ask students to guess the brands
they represent.

4.3 Analysis Divide students into small groups and provide them with a list
10 minutes brands. Ask each group to discuss what they believe makes these
brands strong and valuable. After discussion, have each group
share their findings with the class.

Group 4 – Starbucks
Group 4 – Coca-Cola
4.4 Abstraction The teacher will discuss the following concept:

Branding is a marketing practice of creating name, symbol or
designs that identifies and differentiates product or services from
the rest. It is also a promise to your customers. It tells them what
they can expect from your product or service and it differentiates
your offerings from other competitors. Your brand is derived from
who you are, who you want to be and what people perceive you to
be.
4.5 Application Provide students with a handout containing examples of strong
7 minutes brands (e.g., Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola). In pairs, ask students to
identify the benefits associated with each brand.
4.6 Assessment Direction: Read each item carefully. Write only the letter of
10 minutes the correct answer on your answer sheet.
