SCIENCE:
INDUCTIVE
- The egg represents the earth, and the egg has layers. Therefore, the earth has layers.
- If you drop a glass and it breaks, gravity has acted upon it.
- If you drop a coconut and it floats, it must be very buoyant.
- When you push a box, then you exert force on it.
- If snakes are cold-blooded, and they are reptiles. Therefore all reptiles are cold-blooded.
DEDUCTIVE
- All things have gravity exerted on them; a human is not exempted. Therefore, gravity will
affect him when he jumps and brings him back down.
- There are 3 types of waves, surface wave is one of them, and then it is one of the 3 types of
waves.
- There are 3 states of matter, solid is one of them therefore it is one of states of the matter.
- If there were 3 laws of Newton, and the law of inertia states that something will not move
until acted upon, therefore a box will not move unless acted upon.
- If reptiles are cold-blooded, and a snake is a reptile. Therefore, snakes are cold-blooded.
MATH:
INDUCTIVE
- If 2+2=4, then addition just puts two numbers together.
- If 4-2 = 2, then subtraction takes away from one number.
- If 2^2 = 4, then we can conclude that squaring is just multiplying a number to itself.
- If 8 ÷ 2 = 4, then we can say that dividing is just breaking it up into 4 equal groups.
- If a pattern goes 2, 5, 9, 14, 20, then the next digit is 27.
DEDUCTIVE
- All prime factors only have 2 factors. Thirteen has only two factors. Therefore 13 is prime.
- All right angles measure to 90 degrees. If m<1 is equal to 90 degrees. Then, it is a right angle.
- No concave polygon curves outward. A pizza is curves outward. Therefore, a pizza is a convex
polygon.
- All triangles are three-sided polygons. A dorito is a three-sided polygon. Therefore, a dorito is a
triangle.
- Two angles that are congruent are equal. Angles m<1 and m<2 is both 45 degrees therefore
m<1 and m<2 are congruent.
ENGLISH:
INDUCTIVE
- John is good at writing at essays therefore he must have joined the literature club.
- Demitri lost all his papers, therefore his grades got deducted due to promptness.
- Isaiah did not study for his test, therefore he must have gotten a low grade on the essay.
- The teacher reminded us to read the story and we did. Therefore, we all knew the story
before she discussed it.
- The teacher discussed to us action verb, linking verb and helping verb therefore we learned
about verbs.
DEDUCTIVE
- Aaron is good at English. Therefore he must be good at writing and speaking in English.
- John loves stories. Therefore he must love the “Story of Sinbad: The Third Voyage.”
- Zach has a lot of books, he has the “Percy Jackson” series. Therefore he has read it once.
- The teacher gave us lots of stories as a PT. Dave didn’t read even one of them. Therefore, Dave
didn’t pass the PT.
- All verbs are action words. “Jumping” is an action word. This concludes “jumping” is a verb.
PE:
INDUCTIVE
- She likes to play badminton. Therefore she likes to play sports.
- Diego likes to run around, therefore he likes sprinting.
- Dzaki can jump very high, therefore he’ll be great at pole-vaulting.
- He likes to bounce balls. Therefore he plays basketball.
- Sarah enjoys kicking. Therefore, she enjoys having Taekwondo as our P.E.
DEDUCTIVE
- Athletes are athletic, John is athletic therefore John is an athlete.
- Soccer requires a lot of speed, Anthony is fast therefore Anthony would be a good soccer
player.
- Basketball needs two hands, Diego has a broken arm therefore he can’t play basketball.
- Badminton needs a racket and shuttlecock, Air only has rackets therefore she can’t play
badminton.
- Chess is a strategic game, Enry is a strategic person therefore she’d be good at chess.
FILIPINO
INDUCTIVE
- Kung si Don Pedro ay isang tauhan sa isang kuwento, siya ay isang tauhan.
- Kung ang ibong adarna ay tungkol sa mga alamat, ito ay karunungan bayan.
- Kung ang pag-iyak ay isang pandiwa, at sinasabi nating umiyak sa nakalipas na panahon,
pagkatapos ay nagdagdag tayo ng panlapi.
- Kung "Ano ang maaari mong hulihin, ngunit hindi itapon?" ay isang bugtong, kung gayon
ang lahat ng mga bugtong ay matalino.

DEDUCTIVE
- Kapag pinag-uusapan natin ang tungkol sa mga tao sa isang kuwento, pinag-uusapan
natin ang tungkol sa tauhan o persona.
- Ang panlapi ay mga modifier sa isang pandiwa samakatuwid ang maglalaro ay may mag
bilang panlapi nito.
- Kung ang bugtong ay mahirap, "Ano ang maaari mong hulihin, ngunit hindi itapon?" ay
isang bugtong pagkatapos "Ano ang maaari mong hulihin, ngunit hindi itapon?" ay
mahirap.
- Kung ang salawikain ay salawikain, at ang "Isang ngiti ang makakamit mo ng sampung
taon pang buhay" ay isang salawikain, kung gayon ang mga salawikain ay puro payo.
- Kung ang Filipino ay mahirap para sa mga Amerikano, si Marianne ay isang Amerikano
kaya dapat siyang mahirapan sa Filipino.
