PRIMERA CONDICIONAL

El primer condicional se utiliza cuando hablamos de algo que es


probable que ocurra en el futuro. La fórmula principal y la que más se
utiliza es If + Presente Simple + Sujeto + Futuro Simple (Will).

 If Andrew arrives late again, they will fire him.


Si Andrew llega tarde otra vez, le echarán.

If + Presente simple Relación de dos hechos (uno If it is sunny today, I will go to

SEGUNDA CONDICIONA
La estructura del segundo condicional en inglés es la siguiente: If +
Pasado Simple + Sujeto + Would + Infinitivo

 If you won the lottery, you would travel the whole world.
 Si ganaras la lotería, viajarías por todo el mundo.
 If I didn’t each so much sugar, I would be healthier.
 Si no comiera tanta azúcar, estaría más sano.

TERCER CONDICIONAL
Para hacer una frase al tercer condicional, tienes que utilizar la formula: If
+ Pasado Simple + Sujeto + Would + Infinitivo. Se utiliza para hablar
del pasado. Pero no de algo que ocurrió, sino de algo que podría haber
ocurrido, sus consecuencias en un futuro hipotético y si ese hecho pasado
hubiera sido de otra manera.

Es decir, utilizamos el Third Conditional para referirnos a algo pasado


que ya es imposible de cambiar:

If I knew, I would have worn something more elegant.

Si lo llego a saber, me hubiera puesto algo más elegante.

En este caso, María no sabía que había una fiesta, por eso no se
vistió de manera especial.

If puede ir al principio o al final de las frases. En este caso la coma


desaparecería.

I would have worn something more elegant if I knew.

Me habría puesto algo más elegante si lo llego a saber.
