Crochet pattern
A few words to begin with =)
Let`s start!
You need:
- plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby or analogues (100% polyester, 100g/120 mt or 3,53
oz/131 yrds):
* black color – 1,2 skein;
* red color – 0,3 skein;
* yellow color – 0,3 skein;
* the color of milk or light peach – 0,3 skein;
* white color – 0,3 skein.
- 4 mm hook / US size F (*see the note below);
- fine yarn for crochet eyes (100% mercerized
cotton, 50g/328 yrds or 50g/300mt)– black and
white;
- 1 mm hook/US Size 10-12 - for crochet eyes;
- fiberfiller;
- scissors;
- stitch markers;
- 4-5 cotton buds (to strengthen the neck);
- thick and thin (for sewing the eyes) yarn needle
* For beginners I would like to pay attention to the hook size. I came across a wide choice of
hooks in stores, which are marked in the same way but in fact they different in working area
diameter. I use a hook marked as 3.5 mm, but its actual diameter is 4-4.5 mm. Please see the
photo.

front center
right leg
back center
As crocheting stuff the body and leg (the tighter you fill the
legs, the more stable the toy will stand)
Back to crochet shorts (where we left the uncut red yarn), attach this yarn to the first half-
loop (front loop of 1st sc of 2 round) with 1 ch. and continue crocheting in a circle FRONT
LOOP ONLY:
1 ch, 17 hdc +1 slst in 1st stitch of this round.

Fasten off, cut the yarn and hide the tail inside the leg.

Cut the yarn, leaving a 8” yarn tail.
Stuff the leg firmly. Fasten off leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Fold the foot in half and sew with a needle, hide yarn end
inside the leg.
Beginning from the 14th round, crochet in the same way as the right leg.
Crochet 2 more of these fingers, but don`t finish crocheting on the last finger
7
5: connect all three fingers crocheting in a circle 15 sc (see picture)
6: 15 sc (15)
If there are big holes between the fingers, sew them with the help of the tails of the thread,
which are left from the knitting of the first two fingers.
8
Cut the yarn, leaving a yarn tail for sewing (about 12”)
Stuff the hand (not tightly), fold the edge in half parallel to the palm and sew.
The remaining end of the yarn is not cut, with its help we will sew the hand to the body.
Embroider with a fine black thread of the three stripes on the back of the hand.
Cut the yarn tail leaving 8” tail for sewing with the second half.
Crochet the second same piece, but leave the tail about 16“-for sewing to the head.
