Detailed Lesson Plan

in English IV

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
A. Define reality from fantasy through the short story “Chuchu and the Toothfairy”;
B. Appreciate the importance of knowing the difference between reality and fantasy; and
C. Perform a role play, news report and create a movie poster showing reality and fantasy
by group.

Our lesson for today is all about “Reality and


Fantasy”. Now let us read the objectives.

At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able


to:
A. Define reality from fantasy from the poem;
B. Appreciate the importance of knowing the
difference between reality and fantasy; and
C. Perform a role play, news report and create
a movie poster showing reality and fantasy by
group.

So, now class I want you to watch a short story


about Chuchu and the Tooth fairy.

your pillow. The next morning, you found out
that it’s no longer there and you see that there
is a gift beside you. Now everyone, please
open your eyes. What would you feel, Levi? Levi: I would feel very happy teacher.
What gift do you want to receive from the
tooth fairy Alexa? Alexa: New pair of shoes You will make a role
play presentation showing reality and fantasy.

Lastly for those who got Shyne picture you
will be Group Shyne. Now Group Shimmer,
please sit here at the front. Group Glimmer,
please sit at the back. Group Shyne please sit in
this row. Alright, I will give envelopes and
inside it are your assigned tasks in every group.
Let us start with the group Shimmer. Please
read your assigned task.

lets you dream and imagine. It gave us

in the real world.
