BASKETBALL

They have to hit the ball over the net. The team who wins the point then serves.

Players try to get points by hitting a ball and running around four bases.
They hit a ball with a bat they wear gloves and a cap.
They play on a baseball pitch.

HANDBALL
There are two teams of 7 players.
They pass the ball; they throw the ball into the goal of the opposing team.
Defence players try to protect the goal.

cheerleaders and spectators cheering and supporting the team. Fans are
people who like the club. They often come to their matches and cheer for
them.
GOLF
The players try to hit a small white ball into holes in the ground.
They use a set of golf clubs.
They have to use as few hits as possible.
They play it on the course.
They wear spikes.
TENNIS
Tennis is a sport played between two players. They play against their opponents.
Each player uses a racquet. They try to hit/strike the ball over the net, which is in
the middle.
They play it on a tennis court.
A tennis match is composed of sets.
There are also tennis tournaments.
SKIING
It’s one of the most popular winter sports in the world.
They move down hills over snow wearing a pair of skis attached to their ski-
boots.
They have to wear warm clothes to protect them from the cold air and goggles
to protect them from the wind and sun.
They use a pair of poles.
SNOWBOARDING
They move down hills over snow wearing a snowboard attached to your boots.
They have to wear warm clothes to protect them from the cold air and goggles to
protect them from the wind and sun.
They don’ use poles when snowboarding.
Snowboarders do a lot of jumps and different tricks.
ICE HOCKEY
It is a team sport played on ice.
There are two teams of 6 players. They try to shoot a puck into the opponent's
goal with sticks. They wear ice skates , warm clothes, a helmet and pads.
