STRATEGIES
Brainstorming for Problem-Solving

Here are some brainstorming strategies you can use to generate

ideas to solve a problem. They can used alone or collaboratively:

Traditional Brainstorming: Gather everyone and let the ideas

flow freely.

Mind Mapping: Create a visual web of ideas, starting with a

central concept.

Brainwriting: Jot down ideas individually, then share and

build on them as a group.

Reverse Brainstorming: Explore what could go wrong, then

flip those problems into solutions.

SCAMPER Technique: Ask questions like "What if?" and "How

could we?" to spark new ideas.

Role-playing: Step into different perspectives to gain fresh

insights.

Random Stimuli: Use pictures or words to inspire creative

thinking.

Silent Brainstorming: Quietly jot down ideas to focus your

thoughts.
