1. Introduction
1.1 Description
AN-304 is a wireless infrared detector that can automatically detect the movement of
human body in the area. When an intruder passes through the monitoring area and
moves dynamically, an alarm signal will be sent to the monitoring platform
immediately. It is suitable for the safety prevention of residential area, villas,
workshops, shopping malls, warehouses, office buildings and other places.

2. Structure

3. Operation
Turn on: Press and hold the Turn on/off button on the back of the device for
about 2 seconds. Release the button as the green light on.
Join network: After starting up, the LED enters a 60-second slow flashing state
and the red light flashes slowly, indicating that the device doesn’t join the

network successfully and when the light changes from red to green, indicating
that the device joins network successfully.
Note: After the device is switched on, the LED indicator will only have a
60-second slow flashing state, this state will be cancelled after 60 seconds

regardless of whether the device has successfully joined the network or not.
Auto-detecting mode: After starting up, it will enter into auto-detecting mode
within the first 5 minutes. If it detects a motion within the detecting area, the
device will send out a detection signal and the red light will flash.

Working mode: After starting up and 5 minutes later, it will enter into normal
working mode. There is a 5-minute interval between 2 alarm signals detected.
After 5 minutes, if it detects motion, the device will send out alarm signals again.

Dismantle alarm: In normal working mode, when the device dismantled, it will
send out illegal disassembly signal with the red light flashing.
Heartbeat: The device will send heartbeat signals to the cloud platform every 8
hours to report its working status.

Turn off: Long press the Turn on/off button on the back of the device for 1.5s,
LED light will turn green and then red, and then releasing the button, the device
will be turned off and stop working.

4. Configuration
4.1 Precaution
For device normal operation and detection accuracy, please pay attention to the
following matters before configuration:
Before configuration, please contact our technical staff for the relevant
software and manual.
For wireless configuration, it should be done within the signal coverage area
of the wireless configuration tool
Note: For configuration, you can use wireless configuration tool (wireless
configuration) or USB to TTL cable (cable configuration), but here we choose to tell
customer how to do wireless configuration.

e.g.: For CN470~510MHz, 96 channels are fixed and divided into 12 groups with 8
channels as a group. That is, 0-7 is channel group 1, 8-15 is channel group 2, and so
on, 88-95 is channel group 12.

5. Installation
5.2 Tools
Before installation, please prepare proper tools. Here are tools may be used for
reference:

Place the backboard on the position and mark it where to be installed. Use the
percussion drill to punch holes. Put the plastic cover into the 2 holes and use the
taping screws to fix the backboard on the wall.
Note: When installing the device on the surface of metal or glass wall, you can use
3M tape to adhere on the surface where cannot punch holes and follow steps below:
Use a dry towel to clean the place for installation.
Make the 3M tape adhere to the backboard of the device. Then put the holder
corresponding to the backboard buckle, and tighten the device.
Put the 3M tape on the installation place, press several times to make sure it gets
fixed. Recommended installation height is at least 2.5 m.
