2. NATURE OF DUTIES :
Laboratory work, Field work for blood sample collection, Health Audit and Radiation Dosimetry, etc.
3. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection will be on the basis of performance in personal interview. In case the response is more, this
Research Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by
conducting screening test of the eligible candidates. The decision of the Research Centre will be final and
binding in this regard. Screening Test/ Interview will be conducted in Mumbai only.

5. HOW TO APPLY:
Before filling application form, candidates should keep ready the necessary documents/certificates
7. required. Candidates are required to fill up personal details and details of post applied for etc. and upload
recently taken front facing passport size photograph with proper plain background.
Candidates are required to have a valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active

website of BARC. No correspondence will be sent through post/courier.
The candidate must ensure that their photograph and signature is clearly visible in preview at the time of

6. COPIES OF CERTIFICATES:
Candidates would be required to produce all the relevant following certificates in original along with a copy of
online application and submit attested copies of the certificates at the time of document verification prior to
Interview. The candidates will be solely responsible for furnishing the requisite certificates, failing which their
candidature shall be summarily rejected. Candidates may also note that their candidature will remain
provisional till the verification of veracity of the documents by the Appointing Authority.
5. OBC for the purpose of AGE RELAXATION AND RESERVATION will mean “persons of OBC categories
not belonging to the Creamy Layer” as defined in Government of India, Department of Personnel &
Training OM No.36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08.09.93, modified vide Government of India, Department
of Personnel & Training OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 09.03.2004 and 14.10.2008, and latest
modification vide Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training OM No.360331/1/2013-
Estt.(Res) dated 27/05/2013 (as per the format given in *Annexure-3) & latest modification vide Govt. of
India DoPT OM. NO. 36033/1/2013-Estt (Res.) dated 13/09/2017.(As per the format given in *Annexure-3)
Candidates from Maharashtra State belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories need to submit Validity
Certificate from Scrutiny Committee as per The Maharashtra Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, De-

Note: 1. In case Universities award letter grades/CGPA/OGPA/SGPA, the same will have to be indicated as
equivalent percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by that University. In the absence of the same
the candidature will not be considered for screening test/Interview.
2. Candidates who have not acquired/will not acquire the Educational qualification as on the closing
date of receipt of applications of advertisement i.e 12.08.2024 will not be eligible and need not apply.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
The validity of the panel will be one year from the date of preparation of Panel. Candidates if empanelled
1. under WAIT LIST will be offered appointment ONLY in case, candidate in the SELECT LIST does not
join.

Selected candidates will be posted at LLRRL, Kollam, Kerala. They are also liable to be posted to any of
4. the Units of BARC located in India or to any part of India and in any of the Constituent Units of
Department of Atomic Energy.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should clearly indicate their category in the application
5. (even although the vacancy belongs to UR category) and should furnish proof of their category in the
specified format at the time of Screening Test / Interview (as applicable).
The vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. BARC reserves the right to

The filling up of vacancies indicated in the advertisement is also subject to the approval of Competent

Apex Bodies in the country such as AICTE, NCTE, Ministry of HRD etc.
Candidates may declare their educational qualifications and experience they have acquired other than

(i) Mere fulfilling of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate to be called
for Screening test/interview. Please note that no correspondence will be entertained with candidates not

(ii) Candidates will be shortlisted for Screening test /Interview on the basis of the information provided by them
