WHEREAS, sec. 48 Rule XVI of the Revised IRR of R.A 9184 otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”
provides that in order to promote economy and efficiency, the procuring entity may resort to any of the alternative methods of
procurement which are Limited Source Bidding Direct, Contracting, Repeat Order, Shopping and Negotiated Procurement, provided
that the most advantageous price for the government will be obtained;

WHEREAS, this has reference to GPPB Resolution No. 2009-09, which is the guidelines for shopping and small value procurement
under section 2 © that states “where the decision to resort to shopping and small value procurement has been made, the conduct
thereof may be delegated to the appropriate bureau, committee or support unit duly authorized by the bids and awards committee;

WHEREAS, based on the provision of the revised IRR of RA 9184 Appendix 18, Guidelines for Shopping and Small Value Procurement,
the posting requirement shall be applicable for Request for Quotation (RFQ) with an Approved Budget of Eight thousand six hundred
fifty- nine pesos (Php 8,659.00) and below, under the account code 5029902000.
WHEREAS, the BAC formulates and prescribes the general procedures for procurement of such goods and equipment;

WHEREAS, the said items are included in the Annual Procurement Plan of the FY 2023;

WHEREAS, that all teachers convene/agreed to approve the procurement of supplies;

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in the foregoing, We, the members of the BAC Committee hereby RESOLVE to approve the request of
the school to procure supplies though shopping for the reason that there are no available items at DBM.
