    A Prayer Based on the Apostles’ Creed

    I believe in You, God,


    Father Almighty, Creator of everything—heaven and earth,
    All that is seen and unseen.
    You are the source of life and love, and in You, all things hold together.

    I believe in Jesus Christ, Your only Son, our Lord.


    He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary,
    Fully God and fully man, entering our world to save us.
    He lived among us, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
    Was crucified, died, and was buried for our sins.
    On that cross, He took on the weight of all our brokenness.

    But death did not hold Him.


    On the third day, Jesus rose again in victory over the grave,
    Bringing hope and new life to all who believe in Him.
    He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God,
    Interceding for us, watching over us,
    And from there, He will one day return to judge the living and the dead.
    In that, I place my trust.

    I believe in the Holy Spirit,


    The Spirit of truth and comfort,
    Who is at work in the world and within me,
    Guiding, empowering, and transforming us into the likeness of Christ.

    I believe in the universal Church,


    A family of believers united across time and space,
    Joined in fellowship with the saints,
    Called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this world.

    I believe in the forgiveness of sins,


    That through Christ’s sacrifice,
    I am made clean, forgiven, and set free.
    I hold to the hope of the resurrection of the body,
    Knowing that death is not the end,
    And I look forward to eternal life in Your presence,
    A life filled with Your love, joy, and peace forever.

    Amen.

    A Prayer Based on the Nicene Creed


    Heavenly Father, I believe in You, the one true God, the Almighty, Maker of heaven
    and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. You are the source of all life and
    goodness.

    I believe in Your Son, Jesus Christ,

    The only-begotten Son of God, eternally born of the Father, light from light, true
    God from true God. For us and for our salvation, He came down

    From heaven, was born of the Virgin Mary, became fully human, and lived among
    us. He suffered, was crucified under Pontius

    Pilate, died, and was buried, but on the third day, He rose again, fulfilling Your
    promises.

    Jesus ascended in heaven and is seated at

    Your right hand. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and
    His kingdom will have no end.

    I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the
    Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified.
    He has spoken through the prophets and continues to guide us today.

    I believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic Church, where we are joined in faith
    and fellowship. I believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the dead,

    And the life everlasting.

    Lord, may my faith be strong in You, and may Your grace lead me closer to You
    each day.

    Amen.
