When do people give gifts or presents in your country?
In Vietnam, gift-giving is a significant cultural practice, often symbolizing relationships and gratitude. Key occasions for gift-giving include Tet (Lunar New Year), birthdays, weddings, and holidays like Teacher's Day and Women's Day. Gifts are also exchanged during business interactions to foster goodwill. Additionally, the younger generation increasingly gives presents to express affection or appreciation on ordinary days, showcasing the evolving nature of gift-giving in modern Vietnam. Do you ever take a gift when you visit someone in their home? [ Why/Why not? ] However, I can understand the meaning of gift-giving as a social custom. People often bring small gifts as a gesture of politeness, appreciation, or to show they've put thought into the visit. For example, a bottle of wine, a bouquet, or a homemade treat can be thoughtful gifts to bring to a host's home. When did you last receive a gift? [ What was it? ] The most memorable birthday gift I received was a handmade card from my best friend. However, challenges like piracy and revenue sharing emerged, forcing industry adaptation. Do you think there will be further changes in the music industry in the future? The music industry is undergoing a dramatic transformation driven by technological advancements. AI, virtual reality, and other innovations are reshaping how music is created, consumed, and distributed. We can anticipate the emergence of new musical genres, immersive listening experiences, and alternative distribution models. As technology continues to evolve, the industry will place an even greater emphasis on understanding and catering to individual consumer preferences through personalized recommendations and interactive features. Platforms like YouTube and Spotify make it easy to discover and enjoy music from around the world. This has led to a more diverse and inclusive music scene, blurring the lines between local and international artists. \
