    Job Title: Safety Supervisor/ Steward

    Job Description:
    Supervisors are responsible for a great deal of what goes on day to day in the workplace; it's not just
    a position that solely assigns tasks. Supervisors must ensure a safe and healthful workplace for
    employees. Employees must be able to report unsafe or unhealthful workplace conditions or hazards
    to the HSE officer without fear of reprisal.

    Responsibilities:

     Supervise the implementation and maintenance of health and safety requirements at the
    work front and as construction activity progress, including equipment condition and
    maintenance, site conditions and protective measures
     Conduct regular site level health & safety tool box talks and briefings and support engineers
    and supervisors to conduct pre - start briefings for daily or new activities
     Carry out daily inspections of the work front and routine inspections of equipment and
    conditions (including lifting gear, fire control measures, edge protection, ladders etc.)
     Confirm that inspections of plant, equipment and materials by competent persons have been
    completed (including cranes, scaffolds, electrical appliances and wiring)
     Take immediate action to prevent injury (e.g., stop works/ report to management / rectify)
     Respond to injuries, incidents and emergencies, assist with follow up and report on details

    Requirements and skills:


     Basic Qualification: ITI/Diploma/ BA/BSc.
     Additional Qualification: Diploma in Fire and safety from AICTE/RLI/CLI/ State Technical Board
     Must have Proven experience of 3-5 Years as Safety supervisor/ steward.
     Proficient in MS Office.
     Good communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
     Certificate in occupational health and safety.
     Must have fluency in English and Hindi language.
     Good Knowledge of construction hazards and safe working practices

    Project and Benefit Details:


     Hydropower Project in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh
     Bachelors accommodation and three time meals shall be provided by company.
     Leaves: As per company policy
     CTC: 3.0 - 4.0 LPA
