ROBO SOCCER

Description
A one vs one soccer match between two handmade bots. Score,
defend and achieve victory!

Team Size
Team event with 4 members

Requirements
A robot to play soccer, an extension board (or batteries) for power
supply.

Gameplay
Like a regular soccer game, bots will play this game here. Every
team would enter a 1v1 knockout tournament until a final winner is
decided. Each team has to design a single bot to play the game.

Note: Multiple bots for the same team are not allowed.
Arena Dimensions

Event Rules
● The bot dimension must not exceed 340mm x 180mm x 200mm (length
x breadth x height).
● The total weight of the robot in the arena must not exceed 4KGs.
● The potential difference between any 2 points must not exceed 12V.
● No trapping mechanisms either permanent or temporary to hold/trap
the ball are allowed.
● The bot must not use weapons or anything that can harm the other bot
or the arena itself.
● If the power source is wired, it must not tangle the other robot;
otherwise, it will incur a penalty.
● If both teams trap the ball for more than 3 seconds and no team is able
to move the ball, then the positions will be reset.
● Each match will have two rounds of 3 minutes each.
● If the power source is wired,it should be of sufficient length
according to the specified dimensions of arena; it must not tangle
the other robot; otherwise, it will incur a penalty
Scoring
Each team will be scored on the below scoring criteria

● Each goal in the opponent's area awards 3 points.


● Each self-goal awards the opponent team 3 points.
● Any harm to other teams, intentional or not, will incur a penalty
or disqualification of the team, to be decided by the
coordinators at venues.
● If a bot holds/traps the ball for more than 3 seconds, it will
incur a penalty.
● 2 penalties will lead to deduction of 1 point.
● The total points at the end of the match will decide the winner,
and the other team will be eliminated.
