I. Name of Service:
Ironing a Blouse/Polo
II. Objectives:
- To learn and apply proper ironing techniques for a blouse or polo shirt.
- Ironing board
- Hanger
- Blouse/Polo
- Starch (optional)
- Power source
- Heat-resistant mat
- Laundry basket
IV. Procedure:
1. Unbutton the shirt completely, including the collar and sleeves.
2. Lay the shirt flat on the ironing board, starting with the back of the shirt face down.
3. Move the iron in long, smooth strokes, ensuring the surface does not stay too long in one
place.
6. Iron both sides of the collar and then fold it properly to keep the creases.

Service Plan 2: Ironing Pants
Activity No.: 2
I. Name of Service:
Ironing Pants
II. Objectives:
- To correctly iron pants while preventing fabric damage.
- Ironing board
- Hanger
- Pants
- Starch (optional)
- Power source
- Heat-resistant mat
- Laundry basket
IV. Procedure:
1. Turn the pants inside out and iron the pockets first.
2. Iron the fly, seams, and the first leg, using smooth, back-and-forth motions. Repeat for the
other leg.
3. Slip the waistband around the narrow end of the board and iron while rotating the pants.
4. Fold the pants lengthwise, aligning the legs properly, then lay them flat.
5. Flip one leg up to iron the inside of the bottom leg, then switch to the outside. Repeat for
the other leg.
6. To avoid a side crease, iron just up to (but not over) the leg’s edge.
7. Create a front crease by aligning the inseam and ironing directly along the edges or
applying steam.
8. Hang the pants immediately and unplug the iron for safety.
