How did you ensure the reliability and validity of your data?
– We asked them using a survey questionnaire and a survey interviewer if they are related to
ChatGPT or they heard about GPT
What challenges did you face during data collection, and how did you overcome them?
– they are so slow to pass their answers
How did you analyze your data, and why did you choose this method?
– By using qualitative approach, we were able to know if it’s easier or complexity to the
students responses to gain a fuller understanding of their experiences using ChatGPT
If you had to redo your research, would you choose a different methodology? Why or why not?
– If I had to redo our research, I would not choose a different methodology, because qualitative
is enough to prove you that even though we didn’t use the quantitative, we were able to know
if the students uses ChatGPT on their English performance.
Were there any unexpected findings? How did you interpret them?
– Yes, there were some unexpected findings. One unexpected finding was the use of ChatGPT
had a stronger impact on the language skills of students who were already good in English,
rather than those who were struggling with the language. This finding was interpreted to
suggest that ChatGPT can be a valuable tool for strengthening our writing skills, reading
comprehension and critical thinking.
