Level: A2 (Pre-Intermediate) Duration: 60-80 hours Weekly Sessions: 1 session of one hour Student: Learners with basic English knowledge (A1 completed)
• Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• Understand frequently used expressions related to everyday situations.
• Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information. • Describe aspects of their background, immediate environment, and matters of immediate need. • Write short, simple texts on familiar topics.
Course Content:
Unit 1: Everyday Life
• Talking about daily routines and habits.
• Telling the time and making appointments. • Present Simple vs. Present Continuous. • Vocabulary: Daily activities, time expressions.
Unit 2: People and Places
• Describing people (appearance and personality).
• Talking about hometowns and favorite places. • Comparative and superlative adjectives. • Vocabulary: Family, adjectives of personality, places in a town.
Unit 3: Shopping and Services
• Making purchases and asking for prices.
• Talking about likes and dislikes. • Countable and uncountable nouns, quantifiers. • Vocabulary: Clothes, food, shopping expressions.
Unit 4: Free Time and Hobbies
• Talking about free time activities.
