As a part of HUAWEI IMPLEMENTATION Team I have had experience on Huawei ATCA MSOFTX300 ATCA UMG8900. Work includes following:

Preparing Pre-Sales proposal for customer. HLD and LLD documents. BOQ. Hardware installation. Software loading and configuration. Integration with STP and the Operator Network and basic call testing. Commissioning and commercial launch after ATP.

PROJECTS:

TELENOR PAKISTAN R99 -> R4 Swap and Optimization.

Dismantling of legacy MSCs and setup a network comprising of 6 MSS 2 GCS 17 MGWs in Central-I Region. UFONE PAKISTAN 10B ATCA MSC and MGW Implementation in LAHORE Region.

I have worked on NET-ACT reporting suite and OPTIMA and generated daily KPI reports of different cell sites in Lahore Central-1 region Pakistan. Frequency audit and Neighbor audit using TRFTOOL in MAPinfo and worked with RF optimization team in Lahore learned the basics of RF optimization.
REL-4 SUPPORT ENGINEER ON NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS CS Core TELENOR LAHORE, PAKISTAN TAG SOLUTIONS CONTRACT SEP, 2009- MAR, 2012 PROJECT:

I have been working in NSS-NSN dept which includes CS and PS Core as a Rel-4 support engineer on Telenor Project. My tasks include Swap of current network, Rollout, Integration, Commissioning, Optimization of network. Brief overview is given as following:

Have hands on experience on NOKIA MSS 14.7 DX200 and MGW U4.2 IPA2800 REL-4 entities and also on NOKIA SGSN. Also have hands on experience on Switch Commander of Siemens R-99. Swap from R99 to Rel-4 total of 8 MSS, 17 MGWs in the region. Expansions on A interface on Core side as per customer request in coordination with BSS. New entities e.g. IVRs, Flexi BSC, MSS, GCS, MGW integration and commissioning with existing Rel-4 entities in the network. CD upgrades of Rel-4 entities MSS, GCS and MGW i.e new software release update and implementation when they become available. Additions of new E1s and shifting of existing database from R99 to R-4 at Core end with other operators and their CDR testing for commercial launch i.e. POI integration. Second level support for trouble shooting and emergency handling. Alarm monitoring and troubleshooting daily issues. Network KPI analysis and performance improvement. Creation of Sigtran (Signalling over IP), Megaco / H.248 for MGW control of MSS (Mc interface), BSSAP protocol for BSC (A-interface), BICC for call control between MSS (Nc), IP for MGW (Nb) and ECCS circuits. Destination, Sub destination Analysis, Routing, Circuit Group, Preanalysis, Origin Analysis, Charging Analysis, EOS Analysis, Special Route, Digit Analysis, UPD analysis on TMGW, MGW, MSS and GCS. Daily Backup and O&M of Rel-4 entities. Coordination with TXN and BSS teams for all the required activities approved by the customer. Trouble Tickets resolution within the SLA and raise WO, Trouble ticket management, Prioritization, Fault diagnosis, Remote fault resolution, Management and control of fault progression, Escalation of technical support, Dispatch of FLM-FO staff Second line support with necessary expertise to resolve issues escalated from first line diagnostics.. Re-homing and sharing of BSCs in MGWs. Definitions of new LAC, ext-LAC and splitting of old ones. Cell IDs definition in the network. Troubleshooting of clear codes.
