Rationale of the UBCV
• The course should make the UB students know the history of UB and
appreciate the life and the contributions of the founding fathers to the
great developments of WPC.
• It should develop among students an appreciation of the institution of
which they are a member of.
• It should help students develop a sense of value as taught and lived by
the founders. They should eventually learn to put these values in their
day-to-day living.
• Members of the UB community should take pride in their identity as
members of the UB family. Graduates of this institution must carry
within themselves the true UB identity by practicing the values they
learned in their words, thoughts and deeds.

Objectives
• UBCV should lead us to make an assessment of what we are now, it
should also lead us to answer the question: “Where are we going to?”
It should therefore give both the teachers and the students a challenge
as regards how UB can change their life.
