TOUCHPAD
A touchpad or trackpad is a pointing device featuring a tactile sensor, a
specialized surface that can translate the motion and position of a user's fingers
to a relative position on the operating system that is made output to the screen.
Touchpads are a common feature of laptop computers as opposed to using a
mouse on a desktop and are also used as a substitute for a mouse where desk
space is scarce. Because they vary in size, they can also be found on personal
digital assistants (PDAs) and some portable media players. Wireless touchpads
are also available as detached accessories.
MICROPHONE
A microphone, colloquially called a mic or
mike (/maɪk/),[1] is a transducer that converts
sound into an electrical signal. Microphones
are used in many applications such as
telephones, hearing aids, public address
systems for concert halls and public events,
motion picture production, live and recorded
audio engineering, sound recording, two-way
radios, megaphones, and radio and television
broadcasting. They are also used in computers
for recording voice, speech recognition, VoIP,
and for other purposes such as ultrasonic
sensors or knock sensors.
GRAPHIC
TABLET
A graphics tablet (also known as a
digitizer, digital graphic tablet, pen
tablet, drawing tablet, external drawing
pad or digital art board) is a computer
input device that enables a user to hand-
draw images, animations and graphics,
with a special pen-like stylus, like the
way a person draws images with a
pencil and paper. These tablets may also
be used to capture data or handwritten
signatures. It can also be used to trace
an image from a piece of paper that is
taped or otherwise secured to the tablet
BARCODE
READER
A barcode reader or barcode scanner is
an optical scanner that can read
printed barcodes, decode the data
contained in the barcode to a
computer. Like a flatbed scanner, it
consists of a light source, a lens and a
light sensor for translating optical
impulses into electrical signals.
Additionally, nearly all barcode
readers contain decoder circuitry that
can analyse the barcode's image data
TRACKBALL
A trackball mouse is a pointing device consisting of a ball held by a socket
containing sensors to detect a rotation of the ball about two axes—like an
upside-down ball mouse with an exposed protruding ball.[1] Users roll the
ball to position the on-screen pointer, using their thumb, fingers, or the
palm of the hand, while using the fingertips to press the buttons.
STYLUS
A stylus can be used to increase
the accuracy of your typing and
swiping on any smartphone or
touchscreen device. It can also
help you more precisely highlight
and select specific text (you
know you've struggled to
highlight a phone number buried
in text before) or make selections
in forms or drop-down menus.
NIP
The position of the nip on
the screen controls the
input of the pen . It can be
used in various drawing or
sketching projects .
