Cold today with light snow showers possible into this evening.

An upper level disturbance allows for scattered light snow showers and flurries to continue across the area through this afternoon and evening. Cold weather returns today through tonight. Temperatures will then moderate to closer to normal over the weekend, with mainly dry weather. Near-normal temperatures continue through the first half of the new work week, with a small chance for rain and snow showers on Tuesday.
