Submitting and promoting news and success stories allows us more opportunity to showcase the great ways that we are advancing public health. Some of those include academic and student excellence, career advancement and alumni success, community impact, partnerships and collaborations, service to public health, robust research, and more.

All news and success stories can be found on the College of Public Health website at cph.uky.edu/news. You can filter events by departments, programs, and key words.

Process & Procedures

  • Partner with the Marcom team on a news/success story by clicking the Submit News or Success Story request form on the Marcom page here.
  • Complete the Qualtrics survey thoroughly, including your ideas of how you want this news/success story promoted.
  • The Marcom team will review your request and follow up to discuss options to promote your news/success story suggestion.

Best Practices

  • Be as specific as possible in your request, keeping in mind the vision for the news/success story, intended audience, how you want your news/success story promoted, etc.
  • We ask for a minimum of 4-6 weeks of advanced notice of your news/success story, especially if the stories require additional interviews, collaboration with other partners, and other creative/multimedia needs.
  • The Director of Marketing and Communications, if necessary, will follow up with the requester to discuss news/success story submission.
