Jacob McNiel is from Winchester, Kentucky majoring in Aerospace Engineering. While apart of the College of Engineering Ambassador program, Jake is a Lead Peer Mentor for the Engineering Living Learning Program at Pigman Hall, Prototyping Guide for the Innovation Center, and involved with undergraduate research in the UAV Lab. Jacob has been a UK 101 Peer Instructor and a K Crew Leader. Finally, Over the summer of ’23 Jake participated in NASA RockOn which consisted of building a rocket science experiment that launched into sub-orbital space. He plans to go into the space industry to pursue his passion for space exploration and satellite research. In his free time, he enjoys working on his 4-legged robot named AstroBoy, cadding fun projects like unique board games, listening to music, and cooking!
