Julia is a senior from Berea, KY and she is majoring in Materials Engineering with a minor in Physics and an Undergraduate Certificate in Power and Energy. She is a returning Peer Mentor in the Engineering Living Learning Program, Outreach Chair for the Society of Women Engineers, and an Engineering Ambassador. In addition to her involvement at UK, Julia is a member at Center Point Church and is very involved in the college ministry there. In summer 2024, she attended a study abroad program in Iceland studying renewable energy, and spent the previous summer working as a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern at Robert Bosch Automotive Steering in Florence, KY.  After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering. She is very passionate about learning and helping others, and she hopes to have a positive impact on the world around her.
