New England Conference Committee on LSM/CLM
A Certified Lay Minister is a qualified United Methodist layperson called to congregational leadership as part of a ministry team under the supervision of a clergy person.
Lay Servant Ministries courses will prepare you for a multitude of missions and ministries, improve your teaching and leadership skills, guide you in improving your devotional time, help you become an accountable disciple, or help you develop confidence in leading prayer.
On the CLM/LSM course page you'll find information about the current courses being offered by all our districts in one place. Courses are being conducted online. You are welcome to take a course offered by any district.
See Church Conference webpage for completing annual Lay Servant Ministry reports. See 2024 CC Rollout Letter for details.
