UKCD believes a dental professional should be well-rounded and committed to serving the community in which they practice. Our dental students are service-minded, and are engaged in philanthropy for the community and populations in need. Participating in over ten student organizations, they find time outside the DMD curriculum to socialize with fellow students and enjoy life in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky.
We employ a graduated curriculum in which students have clinical experiences early in the DMD program. UKCD is one of the smaller dental schools in the country, and is known for its collegial atmosphere. We use the latest instructional technologies in combination with a low student to teacher ratio to provide exceptional care for our patients and an excellent education for our future dentists.
The UKCD considers academic performance, service, leadership, and other attributes essential to becoming a successful dentist. Whether you are an undergraduate student about to apply for admission, a high school student looking at career options or a non-traditional student who is considering changing careers, we invite you to learn more about our DMD program.
