Are you sure about precision of article name? It is possible that person have is a Jewish name Russian: Лёв, which often adopt as Russian Russian: Лев. E.g. Lev Tolstoi (Russian: Лев Толстой) really is a Russian: Лёв Толстой. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 07:36, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

If we are to consider the name of L.Nevakhovich then it looks like he became Russian subject (and faced the need to put his name in Cyrillic) along with other people of Letichev only around 1792 when Podolia passed to Russian Empire, and by then he already had his Bar-Mitzvah and was considered an adult having his name on documents as Löb which is indeed related to German 'Löwe'. Eventually he changed his name from 'Löb ben Noah' to 'Лев Николаевич' and there is an indication in the article to that effect but I have followed The Jewish Encyclopedia in assumption that if person had some name from birth into his adulthood then it is indeed his first name.
If we are to consider the title of the article the you can argue that L.Nevakhovich reached fame, position etc. under name 'Lev', and I have no problem with that, you can rename the article to Lev Nevakhovich or put redirection as you prefer.
On separate note, I've never thought that L.N.Tolstoy's name was "Лёв", it is rather "Лев". DBWikis 14:32, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
I know nothing about Löb Nevakhovich, and so ask you for check his name. As regards Lev Tolstoy, this is only a example than how a Jewish name Лёв may be transformed to Russian name Лев. A right choice is Lev Tolstoy (as transliteration from russian) or Leo Tolstoy (adopted to English). -- Sergey kudryavtsev 07:43, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

I think you can work out from the context that if I have erased that entry, it has been mistakenly. My position on this whole issue is inclusivist, as you know.--Burgas00 (talk) 22:10, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello DBWikis! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 389 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ossip K. Flechtheim, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nikolaev. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
