CLERMONT, Fla. – The Duquesne University triathlon team competed at the 2024 Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships this weekend in Clermont, Fla. The Dukes finished in ninth place in the Division I standings with 609 points.

Freshman
Eliza Miller paced Duquense for the fifth straight race with a 1:02:17 in 36th place out of 80.
Robyn Hunt followed as the second Duke across the line in 53rd with a 1:05:29.
Kate Potashnik (1:06:58),
Isabelle Bannister (1:06:59),
Andie Psilopoulos (1:07:02) and
Vivien Mattice (1:07:08) all finished consecutively in 58th through 61st place.
Abby Kreber rounded out the Duquesne lineup in 64th with a 1:07:54.
Miller led DU in swim (9:34) and bike (31:03 bike). The swim time was 14th-best among all athletes. Potashnik had the top run time of the Dukes at 19:32.
The championship event featured a 750yd swim, which was held on Friday at Clermont Watersports Complex due to post-Hurricane Milton damage, then a 20k bike and 5k run on Saturday at Lake Louisa State Park.
