MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Rifle closed the weekend with another victory over Mount Aloysius Sunday.

The Eagles defeated the Mounties 4674-4575. That's three straight shoulder-to-shoulder wins for the Eagles. MSU fired a 2361 in Air Rifle to highlight Sunday's win.

In Air, freshman Victoria Koenig and junior Adrianna Beard led the way with 591 scores. In fact, all five counters were within two points of each other, leading to the solid 2361 total. Freshman George Kuhne had a 590, while junior Hayden Bell and freshman Trey Myers fashioned 589 totals.

While not in the counters, freshman Chloe Shannon carded her best-ever Air total at 595. 

Smallbore saw Beard's 583 pace the counters. Both Shannon and Kuhne registered 577, and Myers was at 576. Bell rounded out MSU's squad at 573. 

On overall scores, Beard led the Eagles with 1174. MSU boasted the top six individual scorers.

This marked the final match of the first semester. MSU returns to action on Jan. 18 at VMI.
