MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Rifle opened the weekend by defeating Mount Aloysius (Pa.) 4659-4548.
The Eagles topped the Mounties, a Division III program coached by MSU alum Siarra Crum, with a 2300 in Smallbore and a 2359 in Air Rifle.
Freshman
George Kuhne and junior
Hayden Bell highlighted the Air scores for the Eagles, as both finished with a team-best 592. Junior
Adrianna Beard fashioned a 588, while freshman
Trey Myers finished at 587. Freshman
Victoria Koenig rounded out the counters with a 585.
In Smallbore, it was freshman
Chloe Shannon pacing the squad as she fired a 582. Kuhne was at 576, while Beard and Bell totaled 571.
