The vertical circle of the

The face left position is known as

Telescope Inverted
The face right position is known as
telescope inverted or telescope
reversed.

of the observer to the other.
Swinging the

This indicates turning of the telescope in a
horizontal plane .it is called right swing
when the telescope is turned clockwise and
left swing when the telescope is turned
anticlockwise.

through the intersection of the cross
hairs at the diaphragm and the optical
centre of the object glass and its
