25 g Schachenmayer Nomotta Rosato black (nr. 99)
Small amounts of Schachenmayer Nomotta Catania
pink (nr.158)
grey (nr. 242)
green (nr. 205)
brown (nr. 162)

fiberfill
2 safety eyes (4,5mm)
crochet hook size 2,5
tapestry needle

Body (start with pink):
Start at the front.
1. Ch 1, 6 sc in ring (6 sc)
2. 2 sc in every st (12 sc)
3. 3 times (2 sc into the next st), 3 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st), 3 sc (18 sc)
4. 3 times (2 sc into the next st, 1 sc), 3 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st, 1 sc), 3 sc (24 sc)
5. 3 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st), 9 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st), 6 sc (30 sc)
6. 3 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st, 1 sc), 9 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st, 1 sc), 6 sc (36 sc)
7. 36 sc, continue with Rosato, this part is crocheted inside out so the hairy part will be at the
outside.
8. Ch 1, turn around, 1 sc into the 1st st, 5 sc, 3 times (2 sc into the next st), 15 sc, 3 times (2sc

16. Sc 2 st together,5 times (3 sc, sc 2 st together), 33 sc (54 sc)

25. Sc every 1st and 2nd st together (6 sc) Fasten off. Thread the yarn tail onto a tapestry needle,
close the hole by inserting the needle through the front loop of each stitch around the
opening. Pull the tail to close the hole. Turn the body so the right side is on the outside again.

Head (with Rosato):


1. 30 sc on the remaining loops of round 11.
2. 30 sc, continue with grey

5. Sc every 4th and 5th st together (24 sc)

8. Sc every 3th and 4th st together (18 sc)

10. 18 sc Stuff the body. Attach the safety eyes between round 5 and round 6 with 7 stitches
between them.
11. Sc every 2nd and 3th st together (12 sc)
12. 12 sc, continue with pink
13. 12 sc Stuff the head.
14. Sc every 1st and 2nd st together(6 sc)
15. 6 sc
Fasten off and close the hole.
Front leg (start with grey):
1. Ch 10, sl to the 1st st to make a circle.
2. 10 sc
3. 10 sc
4. 10 sc, continue with pink
5. 10 sc
6. Fold the leg and crochet the stitches together with 5 sc. Ch 5 , 4 sc in this chain, 1 sc into the
next st, ch 5, 4 sc in this chain, 1 sc into the next st, continue until there are 5 fingers made.
Fasten off. Make another leg, stuff the legs and sew them onto the body.

Back leg (start with grey):


Make the back leg at the same way as the front leg until round 4.
Crochet the stitches together with 5 sc. Make 4 toes at the same way as the fingers.
Make another leg, stuff the legs and sew them onto the bottom of the body.

Wheelbarrow (with green):


1. Ch 7
2. 5 sc, 3 sc into the next st, go on on the other side: 5 sc, 2 sc into the last st (15 sc)
3. 3 sc into the 1st st, 4 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 1 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 5 sc, 3 sc into the next
st, 1 sc (23 sc)
4. 1 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 6 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 3 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 7 sc, 3 sc into
the next st, 2 sc (31 sc)
5. 2 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 8 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 5 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 9 sc, 3 sc into
the next st, 3 sc (39 sc)
6. 39 sc
7. 23 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 10 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 4 sc (43 sc)
8. 43 sc
9. 25 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 12 sc, 3 sc into the next st, 4 sc (47 sc)

Sand (with brown):
1. 51 sc into the remaining loops of round 11.
2. 33 sc, 3 times (sc 2 st together), 12 sc (48 sc)
3. Sc every 7th and 8th st together (42 sc)
4. 42 sc
5. Sc every 6th and 7th st together (36 sc)
6. 36 sc
7. Sc every 5th and 6th st together (30 sc)

12. 18 sc, Stuff the wheelbarrow and the sand.

Wheel (start with grey):


1. Ch1, 6 sc in ring (6 sc)
2. 2 sc in every st (12 sc), continue with black
3. 2 sc in every 2nd st (18 sc)
4. 2 sc in every 3th st (24 sc)
5. 24 sc into the back loops
6. 24 sc into the back loops
7. Sc every 3th and 4th st together (18 sc)
8. Sc every 2nd and 3th st together (12 sc)
9. Sc every 1st and 2nd st together (6 sc) Fasten off and close the hole.
Make another wheel and sew the wheels onto the wheelbarrow.

Grip (with black):


1. Ch 5, sl to the 1st st to make a circle.
2 - 9: 5 sc. Fasten off
Make another grip and sew the grips onto the wheelbarrow. Sew the front legs of the mole onto the
grips.

Worm (with pink):


1. Ch 6, sl to the 1st st to make a circle.
2 -9: 6 sc
9. Sc every 2nd and 3th st together (4 sc), fasten off and close the hole.
Stuff the worm. Embroider with black the eyes on the worm and sew the worm onto the sand.

Tail (with pink):


1. Ch5, sl to the 1st st to make a circle.
2. 5 sc
3. 5 sc
4. 5 sc
5. Sc 2 st together, 3sc (4 sc)
6. 4 sc. Fasten off and close the hole. Stuff the tail and se wit onto the sand.
