techniques.
Lesson: Elements of Drama Performance Standard: The learner will be able to compose at least one scene for one act play that can be staged.

Sentence: She was the most elegant First Lady of


the Philippine history.
Task 4: DISCUSSION
Drama can be defined as a dramatic work that
actors present on stage. Drama is a mode of Powerpoint
fictional representation through dialogue and Presentation
performance. It is one of the literary genres,
which is an imitation of some action. Drama is
also a type of a play written for theater,
television, radio, and film.
Task 5: THINKING POINT
1. When you watch a particular movie or play,
what can you feel about it? Powerpoint Presentation
2. What are the elements that make up a drama?
3. What can these elements give to drama?
Task 6: EXPLAIN ME FURTHER
You feel like you are enjoying yourself and
making yourself busy and making yourself busy,
especially during your free time. Powerpoint Presentation,
a. Theme. The theme of a play refers to its Television, Chalkboard
central idea. It either be clearly stated through
dialogue or action, or can be inferred after
watching the entire performance.
b. Plot. The order of events occurring in a play
makes its plot. Essentially the plot is the story
that the play matters.
c. Characters. The characters that form a part of
the story are interwoven with the plot of the
drama. Each character in a play has a personality
of its personality of its own and a set of
principles and beliefs.
d. Dialog. The story of a play is taken forward by
means of dialogs. The contents of the dialogs
and the quality of their delivery have a major
role play in the impact that the play has on the
audiences.
e. Setting. The time and place where a story is
set and is one of the most important parts.
Task 7: EVALUATE ME ACTIVITY

Discuss other elements with the group for 5


minutes and after that, present to the whole Manila Paper, Marker
class. Graphic Organizer will be utilized.

problems/situations that happens in real life

handle emotions/feelings in a healthy way, as
well as how a counselor can help.
