    DC Roles & Responsibilities
    Deputy Commissioner (popularly abbreviated as "DC") is a chief administrative and
    representative of government in district or an administrative sub-unit of a division. The
    responsibilities of deputy commissioner are varying from province to province. In Pakistan,
    these responsibilities were remaining changing with the passage of time. Here are some key
    roles of deputy commissioner which are given below:
     He is responsible to supervise and monitor the discharge of duties by the Assistant
    Commissioners in the district
     He is responsible for coordination of work of
    the entire sister offices and public facilities in
    the district
     He is responsible for efficient use of public
    resources for the integrated development and
    effective service delivery
     He is responsible to supervise and coordinate
    the implementation of the government
    policies, instructions and guidelines of the
    Government
     He is responsible to support and facilitate the offices and public facilities in the
    district
     Deputy Commissioner on his own, or on the request of the head of a local
    government or head of the District Police, may convene a meeting for purposes of
    maintaining public order and public safety and safeguarding public or private
    properties in the District; and, the decisions taken in the meeting shall be executed by
    all concerned accordingly
     Deputy Commissioner is able to hold court sessions in criminal cases as justice of the
    peace. Moreover, the performance of the Assistant Commissioner (AC) within the
    district is also monitored by him

     The CEO (Education & Health)
     All the Assistant Commissioners
     The Addl. Director General MDA
     The Managing Director WASA
     The Managing Director MWMC
     The XEN Public Health Engineering
     The XEN Building (M&R)
     The XEN Highway (M&R)
     The District Monitoring Officer
     The Civil Defence Officer
     The Secretary DRTA
     The Divisional Forest Officer
     The District Emergency Officer Rescue-1122
     The Director (Labour) & (Excise & Taxation)
     The Deputy Director Environment
     The District Food Controller
     The District Officer (Sports) & (IPWM)
     The Deputy Director (Wildlife), (Social Welfare), (Agriculture) & Environment
     The DDA OFWM (Watercourses)
     The Deputy Registrar (Cooperative)
     All the Chief Officer
     All the Secretaries Market Committee

    Problem Statement
    The work burden on Deputy Commissioner is immense and it is
    quite difficult to manage or oversee the status of pending
    projects/tasks of different departments. So, there should be
    some mechanism that can assist the Deputy Commissioner in
    terms of information gathering related to status of all
    projects/tasks.

    Proposed Solution
    PITB developed DC-ETOC (Everything on
    One Click) Application for the assistance of
    Deputy Commissioners. It is the best possible
    solution that can assist the Deputy
    Commissioners in monitoring of their pending
    or on-going projects/tasks. Furthermore, it’ll
    remind them about their meetings.
    How it Works?
    The model of DC-ETOC (Everything on One Click) is the combination of dashboard &
    application where the information on application is based on the statistics which will be
    inserted at dashboard. Below is the view of DC-ETOC dashboard and Application
