Seminar Report 2021 One Axis Controlled Super Conducting Magnetic Levitation System

ABSTRACT

Superconducting technique is applied to a super conducting magnetic levitation system.

The levitation system is composed of a superconducting coil, a copper coil, a levitated
object a photo sensor, proportional, integral and derivative (PID) controller, power
amplifiers. Persistent current in superconducting coil and control current in copper coil
are used for levitating object and controlling object, respectively. In this paper, two
different types of one-axis controlled superconducting magnetic levitation system using
persistent current at a distance 43 mm are performed.
