You immediately grab your towel bag containing sunscreen, earbuds, and drink. You put on your
sunglasses as you're suddenly aware of the dazzling golden Sun shining down on you. You quickly decide
to go over to the beach. As you walk, the wind picks up, blowing cold air over your bare shoulders,
allowing you to escape the blinding sunlight. You take your shoes off as soon as you feel the sand tickle
between your toes and enjoy the sense of digging your toes into the cool white sand. You glance down and
smile, happy as a kid on Christmas morning that you finally made it. The wind catches underneath it as
you lift it and place it perfectly in line with the dazzling Sun. And you look up to the sky once more and
notice all clouds are cotton candy; it's precisely as lovely as you imagined. Then you decided to head over
to the water. The closer you get to the sea, the more wet and calm the Sun becomes. You hear the waves
crashing, you see the seagull soaring above you, and you smell the salt spray splashing on your skin as you

The words 'reading' and 'writing' are connected and cannot stand alone. For example, when we read
a story, and right after, processing questions need to answer. It involves understanding and evaluation. As
we all know, reading enhances the knowledge of vocabulary and understanding skills as well as writing.
However, these two words are different when it comes to their application. The word 'reading' is associated
with critical thinking. While the term 'writing' is associated with penmanship and gathering information.
Specifically, writing is how a person writes or composes an article, essay, statement, story, or opinion
about a particular topic. On the other hand, reading involves a person's mind and voice, and it is how you
interpret, understand, and pronounce certain words in a book, website, and other reading platforms.

Nowadays, society is living through the advancement of technology, which currently has platforms
like social media that allow everyone to create, interact, share, and communicate information with the help
of the internet. According to studies, as of 2022, the total daily usage of social media worldwide amounted
to 147 minutes per day, up from 145 minutes in the previous year. The Philippines is the current country
that has accumulated users who spend time on social media daily (S. Dixon, 2022).
We cannot deny that technology has helped the community to do their work efficiently. However,
the downside of it, it has negative impacts on people. Experts say that the overuse of social media affects
mental health. Excessive and inappropriate social media use can increase the risk of depression, anxiety,
loneliness, self-harm, and even suicidal thoughts. The improper use of it could lead to harmful things.
Using the internet to bully someone (cyberbullying), inappropriate posting on social media, addiction to
mobile games, and cybercrimes are concerns that affect a person's mental health. We cannot prevent these
circumstances from happening. Cyberspace is not always safe, so everyone should be more aware. Let us
One of the concerning issues in the community that humans face today and do not speak about it
that much is Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). STDs are diseases passed from one person to another

Many individuals are diagnosed with STDs like Gonorrhea, HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and more.
According to the Department of Health, in January 2022, 875 Filipinos, primarily males, were reported
HIV-positive, and 35% are youth ages 15-24. Youngs are at risk, but we should not ignore it and do
nothing. There are ways to prevent the disease from occurring. Using condoms during sex, maintaining
good hygiene before and after sex, getting tested for STDs, and limiting your sexual partner are several
STDs may be a sensitive topic, but everyone, especially the young, should be aware. They say
"prevention is better than cure," so being mindful of this matter is better than doing nothing. Let us be
more perceptive in this kind of issue; there is nothing wrong with being conscious about it. Let us get

COVID-19 vaccination has become an issue in society. Many individuals already have vaccines,
but others are afraid and jump to conclusions without researching. According to experts, getting a COVID-
19 vaccine can help us avoid becoming seriously ill even if tested positive. Unfortunately, many people
may be unwilling to vaccinate due to their aversion to vaccines. However, these vaccines are essential to
individuals and the whole community. It will be a safer way to build safety in our communities and help us
end the overwhelming anxiety and fear that come with this virus.
There are many reasons why we should get vaccinated. First, getting a COVID-19 vaccine will
ensure protection and prevention against the deadly virus. According to the public health institute, vaccines
could help our immune system fight off infectious diseases so we do not get sick and reduce the spread of
the disease. However, there are some side effects after putting it into the body. These side effects are
typical signs that our body is building protection, and it would go away within a few days, so there are no
severe or life-threatening reactions after vaccination. It is not only for our protection against the virus but
also protecting the people around us. The vaccine will lessen the risk of your friends and family getting
infected.
Even though vaccination is not mandatory, humanity is necessary during this situation. Vaccines
can save millions of lives. Developing safe and effective COVID-19 vaccinations is a big step toward
ending the pandemic and returning to the activities we love to do with the people we love. So, get your
COVID-19 vaccine. Let us be united to return to normal, recover and rise again.
TIME ORDER
People are becoming environmentally aware and now utilizing eco-friendly materials like tote bags.
These may be a good influence on the fashion industry. It is not only eco-friendly but also pleasing and
versatile in its use. So, how can we create this bag? Here is a simple process for you to sew a tote bag.
First, you decide on the size to know how much fabric is needed. Layout and cut the fabric, fold it in half,
and notch the corners. Before you attach the webbing, hem the top edge first. Then attach the webbing
handles, and be sure to make it longer. Put the reinforcing fabric on the bottom. Lastly, sew the side seams
and the bottom shut. Finally, now you have a versatile, eco-friendly tote bag suitable for everyone.
