1.0 STATEMENT OF PROBLEMS

Nowadays, humans are busy with their daily activities and business. There have to
work 24-7 to earn their living without thinking about their daily needs. They spent time more
at their office rather than their big and comfy house. Sometimes, they don’t have time to
organise their own castle that make it look like a garbage truck. Laundry room is one of the
most neglected areas of a house. With scattered clothes on the racks, laundry rooms of
most families are actually a dreadful sight for cleanliness worshipers. Almost everyone hates
the sight of a messy house with lack of orderliness. Those disorderly wardrobes, cabinets
and laundry racks really annoy.

Have you ever thought about inventing a product that can solve these problems?
Inventions are important factors in our everyday lives. Without people thinking of better ways
to do things, or making contraptions to make work easier, life would be much different for us.
An invention is a unique or novel device, method, composition or process. It may be an
improvement upon a machine or product, or a new process for creating an object or a result.
An invention that achieves a completely unique function or result may be a radical
breakthrough. Such works are novel and not obvious to others skilled in the same field. To
clean a house, you must get rid of the scattered clothes, as they combine most mess that we
usually have around our house. A simple solution to do that is to bring home a nice and
useful folding machine.

2.0 INTRODUCTION

We have invented a folding machine to gives advantages to housewife. A folding

machine is a machine used primarily for the folding of the shirt. This folding machine is
different from other because we have added a unique function to it such as warmer, fabric
freshener and ironing. This product can makes housewife easier to handle their daily job
especially in folding clothes. Folding machine is a folding plate, as we can call it, which helps
us to store the laundry clothes in one place. The biggest benefit of the folding machine is
that it saves a lot of space. Because it comes with easy folding features, you can fold it and
keep it anywhere, when you don't need it. These new invention folding machine are really an
advanced version of the regular laundry baskets and hampers. Most folding laundry bags or
baskets come in a variety of durable materials like polyester, mesh and/or cotton fabrics that
are easy to fold. Since these bags have flat bottoms, you can easily stack a large number of
clothes in it and save a lot of space.

You can keep this folding machine near the washing machine and drop the to-be-washed
clothes into it. This will certainly save the time that you usually require to search for dirty
clothes. You can also keep one bag in each room to save time even more. This is not only a
great idea for laundry rooms, but it is also a nice idea for the nursery and a kid's room. Since
kids cannot fold their clothes efficiently, they can simply drop the clothes in this machine,
when you finally convince them to clean their rooms.

3.0 OBJECTIVE

i. We will provide the best service in the production of this project.

ii. We hope that this project will provide a revolution in the production of intelligent
machines.
iii. We hope that this project will help facilitate the daily activities of human.
iv. We hope that this project will be disseminated to the public as well as to raise the
country’s name in the production of intelligent machines in the world arena.
v. We hope that this machine can provide a positive impact on the world and to all
mankind.
vi. We that this project will also work successfully and can change the world and be able
to make its mark on the world stage.

4.0 CONCEPT

i. Electromechanical: we use the concept of motor (electromechanical) that move the

components to produce the folding movement.
ii. Spray : we use the concept of spray .We use a wet sponge to produce a spray on
clothing .This concept occurs when both sides of the components to pressure each
other and when the sponge is compressed liquid will come out of the holes on the
component.
iii. Quick and fast: We use this concept because life today needs a machine that works
quickly and give satisfactory results. This machine only needs one minute to fold a
dress.
iv. Automatic movement: This machine will function on its own because we had
programmed it to run itself. It will facilitate human work.
v. Environmentally friendly: We use environmentally friendly components that can
reduce cost and also are able to take care of nature.
vi. Safety features: we use alarm system to ensure that can provide comfort to the user.

5.0 SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An apparatus is provided for folding a shirt. More particularly, the apparatus includes
a folding plate assembly that includes a center plate, which has a first and second lateral
side, a first side plate, which is pivot ably connected to the first lateral side of the center
plate, and a second side plate, which is pivot ably connected to the second side plate of the
center plate. The apparatus is designed to fold a shirt when the shirt is placed on the folding
plate assembly by folding the first and second side plates backwardly so that the respective
side portions of the shirt are folded behind the shirt.

6.0 PURPOSE

i. Aims to help women who are busy in dividing their work and family affairs.
ii. Intends to facilitate housewife in household management
iii. Facilitates the laundry business because it is quick, fast and easy.
iv. Facilitates people who are too busy with careers and have no time to spare for home
management.
v. Easier for employees who work as maids in the management of the home when
using this machine.
vi. Attracts a lot of interest in the community because it is easy to carry user – friendly
machine.
vii. It even easier for companies that receive a lot of quantity clothes for laundry purpose.

7.0 ISSUE

1. How does the spray device on the machine work?

It will serve as a surface to meet another surface and downward pressure .The first
component will feel pressure and compress the sponge in it, resulting in a sponge
compressing and removing the liquid from the surface of the hole.
2. How does the heater work?
It will work when the dress is on the surface folding and being heat according to the
to the appropriate level so as not to burn.

3. Does this machine have only one function?

No, this machine has four functions, example; ironing, heating, folding and perfuming
clothes.

4. Is this machine suitable for the disabled and children?

Yes, this machine is suitable for everyone because this machine has the
characteristics of security and amenities.

v. Can be used while doing other work.
vi. Easy to keep in closet because it is orderly and neat.

9.0 PRECAUTIONS

i. Put in a special place such as side of the wall for easy folding and ironing clothes.
ii. Keep the children away from the machines while it is in ironing stage.
iii. Don’t hold the machine when sensor light goes on because the temperature is too
high for ironing.
iv. Don’t interfere with the folding process because it can damage the machine.
