    First, fill in the verb chart for the verb ir = to go.

    FUTURE TENSE

    Going to go somewhere? Ir + a + Infinitive (of ir)

    This is the same structure, BUT you use the verb ir 2 times since you are
    going to go somewhere.

    Example – I am going to go home Voy a ir a casa.

    Planning ahead – Using the future tense

    It is Sunday and you are making your plans for the week. Fill in your
    plans on the calendar (1 per day) in Spanish. Then, write 7 sentences in
    Spanish about your plans using the ir + a + infinitive structure.
