Activity: "Defining Oral Communication"

Objective:
Participants will explore the concept of oral communication by discussing its
elements, purposes, and importance in various contexts.
Materials Needed:
 Whiteboard or Flip Chart
 Markers
 Sticky Notes (optional)
Think-Pair-Share Activity (10 minutes):
 Think: Ask participants to take 2 minutes to silently reflect and write down their
own definitions of oral language on a piece of paper.
 Pair: In pairs or small groups, participants discuss their definitions and come up
with a combined or refined definition. Give them about 5 minutes.
 Share: Each pair/group will then share their definition with the larger group.
Write down key words and ideas on the whiteboard.
