Literature Review
Waste management is one of the primary problems the Philippines is facing right now, one of
the major problems is the lack of proper collection, transportation, and disposal of waste, which results in
serious environmental issues including littering and illegal dumping. A research study shows that 52% of
waste in the Philippines are biodegradable wastes. Therefore, just by making a compost bin in our school,
we can help in decreasing this percentage. In addition to that, some students in our school, disposes their
