Additional Requirements and Verification
Some students may have additional requirements, such as federal holds or verification requests, before receiving their initial award notice or undergoing the final review process. Verification is a federally mandated process aimed at confirming the accuracy of FAFSA information. It involves submitting required documents via Inceptia Verification Gateway portal and responding to any follow-up questions.

- If the FAFSA was filled out with a contributor, the contributor will also need to create their own account and follow their tasks.
- Complete the task list.
- Respond promptly.
- Review answers and confirm signatures.
- Sign the account and have the contributor sign their account.
- Once notified that the file has been verified and completed, contact the Financial Aid Office to proceed to the next step.
