Accessibility specification for the jyu.fi and chydenius.fi online services
The University of Jyväskylä’s jyu.fi and chydenius.fi sites must comply with the AA level of the WCAG 2.1 criteria.
The Act on the Provision of Digital Services and the EU’s directive on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies presuppose that all people shall have equal access to digital services. On this basis, also the University of Jyväskylä web sites, mobile applications and the contents of related network services must be comprehensible and easily accessible for everyone to use. The network service accessibility means observation of different user groups as well as highest possible accessibility regardless of differences between users, situations and technology.
