What is Science for All?

The Science for All emblem is a signifier for the events and services of the University of Jyväskylä that are open to the public. Select from a wide variety of activities and themes from literature, sustainability transformation, political debate, family-oriented programme, and more. Our mission is to encourage learners of all ages to embrace new knowledge and stimulate their imagination.

The home base of Science for All is the amazing, Finlandia Prize for Architecture-winning Jyväskylä University Library. Activities are hosted across campus and beyond. 

The University of Jyväskylä produces Science for All activities in cooperation with the Summer University of Jyväskylä and Central Finland LUMA Centre. Our partners include the Regional Council of Central Finland, the Jyväskylä University Foundation, the media group Keskisuomalainen, the City of Jyväskylä, the Jyväskylä Association and the Jyväskylä Festival.
