A bachelor’s degree prepares students for advanced studies, such as master's programmes, by providing an essential academic foundation. The comprehensive education and skill development gained from a bachelor's degree are invaluable for personal and professional growth, equipping students for various career paths or further educational pursuits.
At the moment, JYU offers one research-based bachelor’s programme in the field of business. The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Business Innovation and Sustainability (180 ECTS) is open for applications 8-22 January 2025. Check the admission criteria and fill in the application form on Studyinfo.fi during the application period.

When planning your application, please first read the application guidelines and the admission criteria carefully and well in advance before the application period starts.
General eligibility for the international bachelor's programme at the University of Jyväskylä consists of two parts:
- educational background that gives eligibility to bachelor-level studies and
- English skills proven according to the admission criteria.
Depending on your previous qualification, a SAT result may be required. Please see the admission criteria for further information.
