Oberlin, Ohio - The visiting Wabash College Little Giants scored early and often en route to defeating the Oberlin College Yeomen, 52-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Austin E. Knowlton Athletics Complex.
Wabash scored four first-quarter touchdowns and added two more in the second quarter to carry a 42-0 lead into the intermission. The Little Giants finished with 374 yards, which included 183 on the ground.
Wabash starting QB Brand Campbell was 13-of-13 for 174 yards to accompany his three TD tosses, while Austin Pickett led the diverse ground attack with 78 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Oberlin's offense never got going, but the home faithful were treated to some bright spots on defense. NCAC leading tackler
Hunter Green made 11 stops, which included two tackles-for-loss and a sack.
Colten Danel had nine tackles and a sack, while
Jacob Epps also had a strip-sack as well.
The Yeomen are idle next week and will be back in action at home on October 26 against the College of Wooster at noon.
