    RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE REPORT OF THE FACT


    FINDER CONCERNING THE CITY OF TROY AND
    AFSCME OHIO COUNCIL 8, AND DECLARING AN
    EMERGENCY

    WHEREAS, the City of Troy and AFSCME Ohio Council 8 selected a fact finder to
    hear

    and

    discuss

    issues

    concerning

    matters

    of

    employment

    and

    to

    make

    recommendations pursuant to Ohio law, and

    WHEREAS, the fact finder issued a report dated April20, 2016, and
    WHEREAS, the City accepts the findings of the report.
    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Troy, Ohio,
    as follows:

    SECTION 1: That the City hereby accepts the Report of the Fact Finder in SERB
    Case No. 2015-MED-09-0750, dated April20, 2016, and all of the matters decided therein.

    SECTION II: That this Resolution is an emergency measure necessary for the
    immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the City of Troy, Ohio,
    and for the further reason that Council needs to act on the report within seven days of
    its release, NOW, WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its
    adoption and approval by the Mayor.
