Introduction
A store can be defined as a building or part of a building where things such as food,
clothing, furniture’s, appliances and decors are sold to consumers to satisfy wants and needs.
The researchers aim in this project is to find out if the location of a store affects the price
charged, if there are any other factors that influence the price charged, and what can be done
to attract more customers. At the end this research the reasearchers main purpose is to find
out is the locatio0n of a store affects the price charged by comparing two stores located in
different places.

Method of Data collection
For this project the researcher collected data using the questionnaire method, as it was
the cheapest and less time consuming of the other methods. A total of Thirty persons took
part in this research with seventeen being female and thirteen being male. The researchers
gave out the questionnaires on Thursday September 26,2019, therefore it took approximately
one week for the researchers to receive back the questionnaires. A total of thirty
questionnaires were issued with each questionnaire containing ten closed ended questions.
All questionnaires were retuned the end of the week.

Analysis of data
They were five graphs which were used for the information collected on our
researched done.

(2)Table 1&2 was about how long it would took for someone to get to the
store. In addition nine persons took less time to reach to the store located in
Fairview while 11 persons took less time to reach the store located on Church
Street
(3)Pie chart 1&2 shows how busy the store is on a daily basis. In addition 14
persons said that the store located in Fairview was always busy on a daily basis
when compared to the store located on Church Street in which 13 persons says
the store is always busy on a daily basis.
(4) The line graph 1&2 was about why persons shop at this store when
compared to the store located on Church Street .The store located in Fairview
showed that 1 less person shop at the store because of its price when compared
to the store located on Church Street 11 person / 1 more person shop at the store
because of its price .
(5) Pie chart 3&4 ask the customers how do they get to and from the store a
majority of persons stated that they drove to the store located in Hilo when
compared to the store located in Church Street 12 persons said that they drove
to the store which is three less person from the store located in Fairview.

Discussion of findings
While it was not expected that the Hilo Supermarket in Fairview prices are
lower then the Hilo Supermarket located on Church Street. Based on the
observation of the charts above it shows that more person shop at the at the Hilo
in Fairview because of some main factor influencing the choices of the
customers like the convenience of the store ,the quality of there products and
others.

Conclusion
It was concluded by the researchers that the location of a store does affects its prices.
