INTRODUCTION

Thank you for providing me this opportunity to arrange my SOP. Now, I would like to introduce myself the name as Zwe
Phyae Win. I’m a young, energetic, independent and strong determined student targeting my aim with full sense of
responsibilities, a son of Mr.Aung Kyaw Moe and Mrs.Aye Aye Myint Citizenship of No(11), 101 St, Phog Myay Qtr,
Mingalar Taung Nyunt Tsp,Yangon, Myanmar and born on 25 March 2003 holding passport No-MF161068.
I completed and get S.L.C from Dagon University, Yangon with Physics Major since 2019.I got the Score of 75/100 and
exit with Grade-B. Since my childhood and study life, I start interest of Website Running, Coding Tool, Programming and
Networking of IT that why I stop to learning of that primary major. After the exit days of education, I had developed an
interest of pursuing my career in the field of Information and Technology like that Web Design, Software Developing and
A+ Course. Especially, I interest only that IT course and practical in my daily life as Facebook, Firefox and Browsers, too.
So, I always aim with new inventions in the field of networking and software developments. I decided to explore the course
about Information technology in the future. So, I active to start learning of Information Technology in deep.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
May I explain about my educational qualification as I introduced above, I have done S.L.C (School Leaving Certificate)
from Dagon University with First Year - Physics Major in the year 2019 with GPA 5.0 Grade. Right from my initial stages,
my school helped me to develop my skills in the field of Science and Information Technology which became my inspiration
to continue my secondary education in that subject. So, for the entry level, I choose to study about Information Technology.
I enrolment for the myself in KMD Computer Institute in the Practical A+ Hardware Course in the year 2019 and completed
it in October 15, 2019 with 6.0 Grade. I realized the importance of international exposure and its implication on my entire
academic and practical knowledge gained throughout high school education. So, for that purpose, I joined that NELC
(Nelson English Language Center) with Entry Level and my Grade is 7.0. After completing that course, I think about English
course for the International Standard in the world. After I explore many of English Language providers and scandalizations,
I choose to learn the IELTS. As I wished I joined the IELTS class learning and study from website and online E-learning
class since April 10, 2020. I took an IELTS exam on Mar 14, 2020 and secured an overall score of 5.5 from British Council
(Myanmar). As I got my IELTS score, many people think I should start to do good job in here. But, I didn’t try the job in
here because many employers provide any good job level for undergraduate like that me. Therefore, I never been for job
here and just heading to my goal as Information Technology Graduate from the International Colleges and Universities.

WHY I CHOOSE AUSTRALIA BEYOND OTHER COUNTRIES

As I explored deeply in internet with the browser, social network and as the advice from people of my environment, I found the
Australian as the quality of lifestyle and education channel in the world. With sophisticated infrastructure, world leading healthcare
services, a dynamic range of public transport, numerous student services, and a comparatively affordable cost of living, Australia is
a haven for those looking to study abroad such as IT. Australia might be a small country of 24.5 million people but they are
world leaders in education till now. Australia is soon expected to take over the UK as the world’s second most popular
study destination, just behind the US, according to the University College of London’s Centre for Global Higher Education.
That’s why Australia is the third most popular international student destination in the world. As the surveying, Australia is currently
home to nearly 700,000 international students from Worldwide. That’s an 11% increase in international student numbers from
2017-2018. Because of that’s high-quality education, easy access to student support services, multicultural society and
fantastic lifestyle make Australia an attractive study destination. On the other hand, Australia have six of the world’s top 100
universities. The education institutions may be relatively young compared with universities such as the UK’s Oxford or the
US’s Harvard but they are up there with the best. The University of Melbourne, Australian National University, University
of Sydney, University of Queensland, University of New South Wales and Monash University were all ranked in the top
100 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020. Australia has an outstanding higher
education system. With over 22,000 courses across 1,100 institutions, our system is ranked 8th in the Universities 2019
U21 Ranking of National Higher Education Systems, higher than France, Germany, Norway and Japan. One of the point
that’s not refuse to choice the Australian’s because of ESOS and OSHC System. This means that any university or college
that is to be shut down or discontinues the course, a particular student enrolled in has to be either reimbursed the fees or
arranged for the student to study in another university or college. As I found, the Education Services for Overseas Students
(ESOS) law protects such as the wellbeing of all international students, the quality of students' education experience, the provision
of up-to-date and accurate information. As the Rights for international students, I think, I can’t beat Australia when it comes to
implementation of rights and consumer protection.

AUSTRALIA COMPARE TO OTHER DESTINATION

All three countries - Australia, the UK and the US are recognized worldwide and have a good reputation for the high-quality
education they provide. Australia has a world-class education system and boasts a large number of universities and colleges.
Australian institutions have a clear framework and provide quality research and effective teaching standards. Students can
use an Australian degree anywhere in the world. Australia is considered one of the global leaders of education, making it a
popular destination for international students to pursue their education. The UK is widely known for its academic and historic
reputation. The country is well-established and also offers modern high-technology teachings. It consists of both traditional
red-brick and state-of-the-art universities spread across Wales, England, Ireland, and Scotland. Not to forget, the UK also
offers exceptional research opportunities for students all around the world. Studying in the United Kingdom is a popular option
for international students who are looking for a life-changing and exciting experience. Many international students choose to
study overseas to gain exposure and improve their career opportunities. All three countries - Australia, the US and the UK
have universities that work in close partnership with industries and organizations that offer practical learning opportunities for
international students. International students with a student visa can work in Australia. Students can work full-time during
vacations and are permitted to work for up to 40 hours per fortnight while studying. It is not hard to find part-time jobs in
Australia to support my living expenses. Also, Australia is amongst a few countries that offer skilled migrant programs focusing
on students who have abilities, skills, and education qualification and can contribute to the economy of Australia. Australia is
a very dynamic and vibrant country with energetic, friendly people, too. Multicultural Australia is English-speaking and a safe
and friendly society in which students can learn and travel freely than others destinations like that UK, USA. The other
advantages for this country in the Asia Pacific Rim include paid internships while studying. Living expenses and tuition costs
in Australia are considerably less expensive than the UK and USA. And also offers excellent value for money and a standard
of living that is among the highest in the world. I choose Australia because of following benefits and Strengthens:
• A welcoming, vibrant and social culture.

• Student visa (subclass 500) allows students to work in Australia.

• Tuition fees in Australia are comparatively cheaper than in the US.

• Several recognized and respected programs.

• Many natural sites and activities.

• Australian universities like the Australian National University, the University of Melbourne, and the University of
Sydney are in the top 50 QS university ranking.
WHY NOT HOME COUNTRY, MYANMAR

Keeping my goal and target in my mind, Institute in Australia seems to be an excellent and brilliant place for carrying
my career ahead to its peak as doing a qualification at an international level will carry more weight-age. There is no denying
that there are many institutions available in my country Myanmar such as the UIT-University of Information Technology,
UCSY-University of Computer Studies, and YCC-Yadanapon Cyber City so on. Firstly, one has to clear the entrance exams
which are quite a tough job due to the limited number of seats in such institutions.

Moreover, in Myanmar Information Technology system is followed for admissions so that’s why my chances of getting
admission were quite low. Secondly, the course curriculum is quite different from the curriculum of Australian colleges and
universities. Moreover, In Australia, the approach of teaching is practical along with the use of the latest techniques and
updated syllabus which makes the student industry-ready graduate and this increases the chances of a fresh graduate or
undergraduate to be a part of one of the leading organizations of the world. Even the modes of delivering education are
well furnished as the latest technologies are being used to impart education to the students such as smart-classes equipped
with projectors or other audio-visual, practical material aids and so on.

Moreover while studying in my home country I cannot get the benefits that can be gained while studying abroad such as
international exposure which would add extra weight to my resume to get good jobs in future. Secondly, by studying in an
English speaking country I can improve my communication skills. Last but not the least, the value and recognition of an
international degree due to the latest business techniques and understanding of the advanced economy are always higher
than a local degree especially in one of the most emerging markets like Myanmar today. Hence internationally qualified
candidates are always preferred comparatively. Due to all these merits of overseas education, I have decided to have an
international degree rather a domestic one. As the IT industry is the Third-largest employer in Australia. Australia is the
only country that has implemented some educational acts which reserve the rights of international students. The act is
known as “ESOS- Education Services for International Students” which gives the international students the rights to
information about course offered, subjects, actual fee structure, and method of delivery of the course by the institution. It
also gives the right to students to have a written agreement with the institutions which states all the terms and conditions
to be followed by both the student and the course provider. The best thing about this act is its tuition fee protection policy
which ensures the investment of an international student is safe. It will not be wasted if in case the institution is unable to
provide the course to the student and it has to arrange a replacement for the student or has to refund the tuition fee. I could
not find such policies in other countries.

WHY KENT INSTITUTE

As I explore and also my friend who advise of that KENT institute is one of the most popular, trusted and excellent College
among International students all over the world that’s why I choose and drop in KENT. I attend different education seminar
with my friend and I start notice of that KENT Institute. I found that KENT is an Australian multi-campus private College
located in Sydney and Melbourne Territory. KENT offers various different education programs at undergraduate and
postgraduate level as well as the Single Subject Course, Advance Diploma and Bachelor. KENT Institute is Established in
NSW in 1989 and now operating under the Corporations Act 2001, Kent Institute Australia aspires to create a brighter

is certified by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), with its bachelor’s degrees at AQF Level 7, and also Institute
Australia’s Vocational (VET) courses have received accreditation from the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). As I
Fortunately, KENT offers students some of the most extensive and innovative learning facilities in Australia. KENT is the
development of skills that are valuable across the spectrum of the working world. The workplace of the future will be
characterized by greater flexibility and more global opportunities. After holding degree or Diploma from KENT, student like
me will gain transferable skills while studying our course. Skills like problem-solving, time management, verbal and written
communication, entrepreneurship, collaboration and leadership will stand in good stead when we step into the workforce
– whatever career we choose to pursue. The future of work will be, to a very large degree, influenced by technology. The
pace at which digital technologies and virtual communication are evolving continues to increase, so KENT, make sure all
the students develop skills with technology and become comfortable adapting to a shifting digital landscape.
KENT is committed to student success because this ultimately defines the success of the University. KENT offers several
support services, activities and programs to bring about successful student outcomes and ensure their students have the
best experience possible during their study journey. KENT provides the student with a variety of service that assists and
help the student to achieve their intended goals through different student support facilities relating to counseling, proper
guidance, different student mentors’ programs, financial assistance, and scholarships. KENT also pays special attention
to student’s health and welfare along with a range of facilities to a student with a disability. Finally, I aim of my dream
education programs is more match with KENT, so I decided to choose that KENT because of deeply involve my future
career way.

OTHER EDUCATION PROVIDERS IN AUSTRALIA OFFERING SAME COURSE

While I exploring for course in Australia, I was confused about the many of education provider that what type of same
courses they provided in same time. In total, there are 35 Australian university and College campuses in Sydney. These
Sydney universities teach 254,000 students combined, including 51,000 from overseas also. After the research of my own,
I found these Education Provider in Same Course as following. The Tuition fees vary depending on the discipline I choose
to study, the degree and Diploma level, and the university in which I can enrolment. Tuition for international students are
Diploma Course : between 10,000 – 25,000 AUD/year, Bachelor’s degrees: between 20,000 – 45,000 AUD/year and
Master’s and PhD degrees: between 22,000 – 50,000 AUD/year each. So, compare of between KENT institute and others
provider are following listed I checked they provide for IT course:

▪ Flinders University – tuition fees start at 10,350 AUD/year

▪ IPAG Business School – tuition fees start at 13,000 AUD/year
▪ University of Wollongong – tuition fees start at 18,800 AUD/year
▪ University of New England – tuition fees start at 19,100 AUD/year
▪ Victoria University – tuition fees start at 21,800 AUD/year

After carefully I considered, I pleasure to attend the IT course in KENT because of that’s convenience and reliable.
Because, the tuition fee is between 6500 AUD – 9000 AUD and cover my accommodation expense also. I think, I will never
get of the contrite about my choice of KENT Institute.

WHY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

While a globally recognized qualification is a great way to kick-start my career, a degree in IT isn’t always enough.
Employers need technology experts that can help their business stay one step ahead. They are looking for candidates with
the hands-on experience, strong communication skills, technical skills, an understanding of the latest software, a proven
ability to learn new technologies. KENT Institute can help me achieve these goals, and more. The School of Computing
and Mathematics is ranked third in Australia and they are the number one choice for postgraduates, who enjoy a 85%
employment rate after graduating. Based in the central business districts of Melbourne and Sydney that degrees and
diplomas are designed in collaboration with industry professionals to ensure their relevance. Studying the Bachelor and
Diploma in IT will provide hands-on experience with the latest software and hardware, and every year can introduce new
specializations aligned with the latest technologies, including Mobile Programming, Cloud Computing and Network Security
like that I choose.

The mobile app development industry accounts for nearly 10% of all IT jobs in Australia and a recent report predicts up to
50,000 new job openings for software and apps programmers over the next five years. Cloud Computing is one of the
fastest growing areas within IT, and the recent migration of local IT infrastructure into the Cloud has resulted in a shortage
of IT Cloud Systems Administrators, Architects and Engineers.

There is also a shortage of cyber security experts, as Cloud-based technology has left businesses vulnerable to data
breaches. According to the 2017 Telstra Cyber Security Report, cyber attacks almost doubled last year, with 57% of
businesses affected by at least one security incident a month. As a result, government departments and local businesses
are competing for talent, and software engineers who specialize in cyber security can command a six-figure salary.
Employable jobs in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) are growing twice as fast when compared to
other jobs in Australia till now. IT remains one of the highest paid industries in Australia, with salaries for technology roles
higher than most competing sectors. If studying in this field I will develop skills in the processing, transmitting and storage
of information. Inside the information technology field, I will learn the theory and practice of industries such as:

(1) Computation theory

(2) Computer programming

(3) Format coding

(4) Storage and retrieval of information in a computer environment

(5) Robotics programming and artificial intelligence

(6) Systems analysis, Etc.

In the Course of Web Developing as I choose, I will learn and study the modules are following,

Web Page Fundamentals A:

As the way of study, I will learn that courses offer practical, hands-on programs, which will get I job-ready or provide a
pathway to further undergraduate study. In information technology course, I will be trained in IT support, digital and
interactive games, computing, coding and systems administration. I am motivated and determined in pursuing my next
bachelor’s degree (BIT) in Australia through a bachelor’s program at KENT as this course will help me build a career in the
field of computer and technology. On the other hand, An internship is an opportunity offered by an employer to potential
employees, called interns, to work at a firm for a fixed period. Students must do an internship as an opportunity to
experience in a professional environment within the Australian workforce related to the chosen discipline. It is a way to test
drive possible jobs and explore different career options.

PLANS AND REASON FOR RETURNING TO HOME COUNTRY

I once held the perception that having both of local work and learning experience in Australia would be better for an international
student than acquiring work experience from home. That’s partly why I choose to study abroad after all – to learn from an
environment that mightn’t be shared in my own country. Yet after returning to my home in Myanmar for an internship, my
attitude towards having work experience from home changed. Internships are valuable where ever I have them but sometimes,
an internship from home could yield different results that I will might not have received from a local work experience opportunity
in Australia. What are these benefits, Here are four reasons why I should consider returning home for an internship and
entrepreneur.

Internships in Australia can sometimes be quite pesky for international students as some employers’ attitudes towards
international student recruitment, shifting visa regulations and other factors can get in the way of potentially getting my foot
in the door. But back home, the story can be a lot different. Employers from home may look favorably on an overseas
degree, especially if they recognize the institution I’m educated in, thus giving me more working opportunities to choose
from. An internship from home can also enable me access to the Australian work force too. What I have learned from
internship at home could be later applied to locally and for Australian employers with a strong interest in overseas
expansion, having an international connection between me and my previous employer could be a huge upside for both.

For many fresh international student graduates, one reason why they may struggle to find a job when they decide to return
to their home country is due to their limited industry contacts there. And when I’m studying overseas, building a professional
network back home whilst balancing my studies is difficult. But an internship at home can help change that as it gives me
the means to make industry connections during my studies. An internship during the semester break gives me the chance
to meet new people on the job, reconnect with old friends and spend time with family. I never know who I’ll meet or what
opportunities it will lead me too so value the time I have on the job and with my friends and family while I’m back.

Some idealistic students will already have an idea of what awaits them before they’ve arrived in Australia to study. Some
come to Australia in pursuit of a dream but with all of life’s obstacles getting in the way, sometimes holding onto that dream
can be challenging – especially if I’m a student who has tried tirelessly to land some kind of work experience in Australia.
If I successful in getting an internship from my home, it might be the catalyst that a downtrodden student would need to
remind them of why they decided to travel abroad in the first place. It may reinvigorate us to stay on track and persevere,
to run straight through to the finish line. As international students like that me, it’s quite fortunate to be able to travel between
countries for work and study. But sometimes, how the industry behaves and operates at home will differ to what’s expected
in Australia. By finding experience at home during my studies, I’ll be able to better prepare myself for work in the future if
my return home. I’ll be introduced to or reacquainted with the current trends in my industry and can navigate the cultural
differences between Australia and my home country. It helps to stay in touch this way and I would be able to find my place
in the industry more easily once I finish that overseas degree or diploma.

Finally, as I trend my goals I will be setup my own business in IT Industry like that Mobile Services Shop, IT Solution
Service Company or something like that go on. Because, my home country has no IT Industry and company a lot of
especially in my city. Continually, I have plan to be developing for my colleague and fresh graduate as me when student
life. I think, I trust to be growth of my business in the 3 years future together with whom collaborate.

COMPLY WITH THE LAWS OF AUSTRALIA GOVERNMENT

Once I have received my study visa, there are requirements I must meet in order for it to remain valid, including;

• I must remain enrolled and maintain satisfactory course progress and attendance.
• If I wish to change my qualification level I may need to apply for a new student visa.
• Provide my Australian address to my institution so they can contact me, and let them know if I change to different
address.
• I must continue to be able to support myself financially while I’m in Australia.
• I do not breach the working conditions applicable to my visa.
I am mentally prepared to match all the visa conditions under visa subclass 500 which I have highlighted below in listed:
• I need to maintain 75% attendance.
• I need to clear 70% of the subject in each term.
• I cannot change the university for 6 months upon enrolment.
• I can work 30 hours per fortnight on a part-time basis.
• I need to maintain the health insurance as OSHC until I remain in Australia.
• I must notify to college within 7 days if I change the address or contact details.
As we know that opportunity doesn’t knock one’s door time and again so, one should be able to open the door with the
right key in order to grasp the opportunity. So, I hereby with the letter commit to follow every laws and regulation of the
college and government, live as a law-abiding student in Australia.

GENUINE TEMPORARY ENTRANT

Studying Information Technology at KENT Institute will provide me with a solid grounding in this field. While IT Industry is
vital to my future in my home country there is limited IT and Accessories support available. While there is a limited
education in any form of Technology Science in the area in which I live I have excelled at all of my science subjects. I have
also spent all of my holidays working within the IT Technical practice run by my friend and his 3 colleagues. While I have
no formal studies in this field it has always been my intention to study in their area hence my selection of appropriate IT
subjects.

The KENT Institute’s program is the top-ranked course in this field within Australia. It offers some of the best facilities for
studies within the country. Unlike some of the European or US based programs, there is a focus on tropical practice that
is required within my home. The annual cost of tuition at this College for IT and Web Development is AUD 15,000-30,000
per year. I spent a considerable amount of time using the various course search sites as well as looking at the rankings of
the different IT schools in Australia. I then reviewed the individual schools that were recommended before settling for my
top three to apply to. I was very fortunate that I was accepted by first choice the KENT Institute. Not only is this college the
top-rated IT college in Australia it also offers training for tropical practice rather than the usually Web Developing and IT
Structure. This University is able to provide me with not only experience of Web Developing in a model setting it also covers
new century and an opportunity to learn Advance Programming.

Having always been around Mobile Phone repairing and my friend’s practice it is only natural that I follow in their footsteps.
While there are other career options that I could follow I want to remain within the community that I was raised in and to
continue the good work that me collogues has provided.

My friend and his partners have already offered me a full partnership within the practice conditional on my gaining the
degree. I have taken a year out of education whilst I have been supporting my friends. This has enabled me to gain some
valuable hands-on experience. My friends have studied at some IT Colleges for their IT Diploma before returning back
home. This is the first time that I have applied for a visa in my own right my visit to Australia as a young study life.
I have never had to apply for a Visa before, my foreign travels have been confined to our neighbors for whom visas are
not required.

Living in Australia for a period of around up-to 12 Months will also help with my personal and Academic development in
and outside while study. I never travelled to numerous countries around the world for holidays and other purpose, but I will
never have a chance to live in any other country for any extended period of time. I would love the opportunity to live in
Australia for around a 12 months period, which will no doubt get me out of my comfort zone anymore. Australia would be
an ideal place for myself and my aunt, to live and study for around 12 months initial. I know that there are a lot of similarities
between Australia and my home country, including the same language, how study and work part-time corporates, how
schooling and education is provided, social activities and culture etc. This will be help me get match to living outside of my
home country that Myanmar, which is other that important strong reason for why I have chosen Australian as be my fully
preferred destination for study abroad.

CONCLUSION

Finally, I would like to thank you for providing me an opportunity to entry the KENT and going through this missive. I will
be highly appreciated to Australian High Commission and KENT if I will be granted my study permit (STUDENT VISA
CLASS 500) in Australia. And of course, this will grant my opportunity to learn and gain knowledge and fulfill my expanded
career objective in my intended field. I can confirm that I will earn a higher level of income in the Myanmar relative to
Australia, because I have extensive experience in the Myanmar market. I do not have similar experience in Australia, hence
I would not be able to secure such a high paying job. Hence, I can confirm that I do not have any incentive to breach my
visa conditions, or overstay beyond the validity period of any visa issued to me.
